1873 Remington Rolling Block

Lovingly restored by master gun maker, Jim Dubell, at Delta Gunshop in Colville, Washington, this 1873 piece was in poor condition when I inherited it.  The wood was charred or missing altogether, the barrel was badly damaged, and it had no finish at all.  Jim and I, working together, brought this piece back to shootable condition, chambered for modern .357 magnum rounds.  It shoots better even better than it looks.

This rifle belonged to my great grandfather...
